LaCamas Little League Raffle!

Here is the winner of last years LaCamas Little League Raffle of a Custom designed (unframed) 20 x 20 Collage of your LLL player taken at one of their home games! It was a lot of fun to do and I chuckled at all the little boys in the dugout that kept asking me to take their photos too, they were all to cute.. Raffle Tickets are only $1.00 each and they will be sold at your Teams scheduled picture session on May 1st. We will also have this Print on display that day. 50% of the Raffle proceeds will be donated back to LaCamas Little League and one lucky winner will have an awesome print to hang in their house! :)

Camas Golf

Camas High School had a match against Washougal High School the other day, so I decided to get my camera out and make the LONG trek on the front 9 at Camas Meadows. Those girls must walk at least 5 miles (that's stretching it, but dang it sure seemed like it..lol)...I love watching the girls play and I hope to tag along at future matches. :) That is McKinsey teeing off and then a couple other fun ones...Hope you enjoy!

First off I cannot believe my baby is old enough to go to Prom! She had a busy day, she got her hair done by her Cousin Jayden who works at the JC Penny Salon, so look her up if your in the area and are wanting a new Do, she's AWESOME! After I took my required photos, ;) Cory took her to Dinner that was to be a suprise, (I can't wait to hear about it) Then it is off the Crystal Ballroom in downtown Portland...Here are a few that I thought were sweet, I hope you all enjoy it! I am in love with Sun flare! I have been playing major "catch up" and this one caught my eye so I thought I would share. This shot was taken while I was in Tenn. for a Senior workshop given by Steve and Shelley Harrington of Garland, Utah. Take a moment and check out their work at www.SteveHarrington.net . Camas vs. Union

I went to my local High Schools Basketball game last Tues. night and what a game! It came down to the final seconds and it was a nail bitter to say the least! Camas won 50-47....Here are some photos I captured, the one of the fans was in the final seconds and their reaction to the win...(Camas is in white and Union is in black)

Just a shout out to the Washougal Cheerleaders, not only are they all so pretty! But they are the sweetest bunch of girls who had the pleasure of listening to me shout directions over AC DC blasting from the Gym below...LOL...Your pictures should be in by the end of next week...Enjoy the rest of your Cheerleading Season and I will see you all next year.

Wow! We have had more snow then we have ever had since 1968! We must have about 2 feet in some places. I took a photo of the cool Icicles forming off our back patio. Years ago, McKinsey saved one in our freezer for months until I "Accidentally" broke it..lol...
This one grew to 3 feet in about 2 days...Hope you enjoy! Brrrrrrrr........

I went to the Camas High Schools Girls Varsity basketball game last week and took some photos of Caitlin playing some basketball! Caitlin made three 3 pointers and led the team in points! Breanna and her Mom, Lisa came up last week to have Breanna's Yearbook photo taken..What a sweet sweet girl! While Lisa and my husband caught up on the latest happenings in Camas and Washougal, Breanna took some beautiful photos! One I have here is my personal favorite and the other is the one she choose for the Yearbook....Stay tuned because in the Spring were doing Breanna's outdoor with her Horses and a Prom Dress! I can't wait!

Alex came over a couple days ago to have his Senior photos taken. I tell ya, Alex is amazing! He is a Senior in High School AND in the Army! He has already completed boot camp which was in Oklahoma (yikes! I hope have that right!) this past Summer...His family, I am sure is so proud of him!

Boo Bash is a trick or treating event that the town of Camas holds every year on the Weds. before Halloween. This year we were blessed with perfect weather! I am here in Nashville Tenn. this week attending a Photography seminar and had a Senior shoot scheduled on Sunday..We went all around downtown Nashville, even across the street from the Titans Football Stadium where they were playing the Green Bay Packers! I flew down to Calif. not that long ago because my Sister (Kathy) had a new Filly and what better reason to fly down and take some photos! (ok, it was really her birthday, but we won't mention the big FIVE OOOO) hee hee... She has a pot bellied pig named Pumba, and Turtle named Tank about 5 horses, 2 Jack Russell dogs (One of which drinks way to much coffee in the morning! Can we say HYPER!)LOL...

Updating my Blog

Hey Everyone...

As you can see I am in the process of updating my Blog, I wanted to start using some fun, bright colors and I am really loving this blue! As for my header (above) not sure about it yet, so it may be changing, lol...

Be on the look out for my new 4x6 Cards around town! They will have that great graffiti wall on them! I love the colors so the cards are going to be bright!

Oh, my photos are going to be much bigger on my blog as well.. Yay!!!!!

My Baby had Surgery...

McKinsey had to have surgery on her Left Femur last Tuesday (6-24)..She is doing good but in a bit of pain, but everyday she feels better..

I had been away for a while to help her get better, but I am back and working on everyones photos!

Thanks to all that have wished McKinsey well! (It's working)!

Jerry and Janice celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewing of their Vows and a huge party at "The big Red Building" in Astoria Ore. I had the pleasure of photographing the event and I had so much fun! Well, I have been tagged by my good friend and fantastic photographer Denise Rehse Watsonhttp://www.photosensitiveportraits.blogspot.com/ from Hood River! I had no clue what being "tagged" meant, so after asking I find out it means I have to write 8 things about me that most of you would have no clue about...

So, without further ado, eight things to share with you!

1. I am crazy about Neil Diamond....There I said it, it is out in the open now...I have been to 3 of his concerts, once with my Husband Brad, then with my oldest Lindsey and with my youngest McKinsey..When he comes back to Portland I am taking my middle daughter, Lauren...

2. I am a TV reality show junkie...Love them all!!!

3. I do not like riding bikes!

4. I have lived in Calif. Utah, Hawaii, New Jersey, Chicago, San Francisco, and Camas.

5. I love Jigsaw Puzzles, the bigger the better...

6. I was in the group of the first riders on the Revolution Roller Coaster at Magic Mountian in Southern Calif. We (my family) had free run of the park because we knew the people that ran the Animal part of the Park..So they asked if we wanted to be part of the "test" ride..lol

7. First thing I do when I get home is put on my Pajama Pants! I am all about comfort... :)

8. I grew up on a Ranch, did Barrel Racing with my horses, raised Pigs, Sheep, Rabbits, Goats, Ducks, Geese, and Cows... It was fun! (except for cleaning the icky pens).. lol

There you have it, 8 things about me you might not of known about..lol.

As promised here are some photos I took of our Golf outing yesterday at Orchard Hills Golf course. Photos are of McKinsey and Brad. It was hard to golf and take photos, but I did manage to capture a few..Had to warn Brad to be carefull not to take off in the Cart with my Camera on the Seat! You will not find any of me cuz, well just cuz...lol...I think I hit a house with one of my Tee shots! (oops)!
